Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, South Hills Electric, Heating & Cooling, LLC  has changed the way we provide estimates. We’re reviewing your needs and conducting estimates virtually!

In the interest of everyone’s comfort and safety during this time, we’re conducting estimates for service, repair, or installation virtually over an online conferencing app.  Virtual home visits allow us to see what we would if we were in your home, office, or facility. We’ll explain the process while we talk with you on the phone or over a video conferencing app. We can get a good idea of what is going on with your system and cut down on the time we’re in your home for the repairs or service.

When it comes time to do the work, we can safely service the electrical, heating and cooling needs in your home, apartment complex, or small business facility.  We practice social distancing and our technicians wear respiratory masks, gloves, shoe covers and other protective gear required during this time to help keep you, your family, and our staff safe and healthy.  We also keep our equipment and trucks clean and sanitized. When you need service, rest assured we’ll respond with responsible precautions during this crisis.

One of our experts will contact you at the appointed time, and using the app, will work with you to diagnose the problem in your home or facility.

Our technicians are experts who will ask you the right questions, and they can show you where certain parts or electronic systems are located. We might ask you to check certain things on our behalf, if you are comfortable, so we can diagnose the problem during your call and schedule a convenient time for repairs.

When you’re on the video call, you can ask any questions you like. We ask for some time when we arrive at your home or facility to check the problem personally, but you will have a good idea of what is going on before we arrive.

We advise all our customers not to touch the electrical systems or try to complete repairs on your own!

Because we have turned to digital technology during this crisis, we will use that same technology when we arrive at your home or facility. We do not need to shake hands, and you do not even need to be in the same room as our technicians. We can place a video call with you and virtually take you to the spot where the repair will be done. We’ll explain what we plan to do, or call you back when the job is complete.

Even while avoiding close contact, you’ll still get the amazing service we promise to all customers. We’ll call when the work is done, and you can even see a test of the item that was repaired, if needed. We will bill you online, and you do not need to worry about making personal contact.

We Take Sanitation Seriously

We have started using digital technology to help with electrical repairs and services because we know you want to minimize the amount of contact you will have with our team. We also take sanitation seriously. We use boot covers to ensure that germs are not tracked into your home or office, and all our technicians wear gloves, use alcohol sanitizers to remain clean, and clean up after themselves when the job is done.

We also outfit our staff with the appropriate respiratory masks, and we have taught them all proper coughing etiquette. Anyone who appears to be ill will not be sent to your home or facility. We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone, and we want to contribute to flattening the curve while also providing services that you desperately need.
